◼يعدُّ المسرح المدرسي جزءاً من المناهج الحديثة؛ فهو يساعد على تكوين عادات ومهارات وقيم وأساليب لازمة؛ لمواصلة التعليم؛ وللمشاركة في التنمية الشاملة، وهو أحد الأنشطة المهمة، التي تنمي في الطلبة الحاجات الأساسية كالحاجة إلى اللعب والحاجة إلى المعرفة والحاجة إلى تحقيق الذات، وهذه الحاجات تساهم في صقل وتنمية شخصية التلاميذ، فاللعب يعزز لدى التلميذ مهارات الاستكشاف، واكتساب معلومات ومعرفة تنمي قدراته الذهنية، كما أن تحقيق الذات يمنح الطلبة إحساساً بأنهم يستطيعون أن يلعبوا دوراً مهماً في المجتمع، وتقديم كل ما هو مفيد فيما يلي أهمُّ فوائد المسرح المدرسي:

✅تعرّف  التلاميذ إلى العالم المحيط بهم وتوعية التلاميذ بتراثهم العربيّ وتاريخهم وحضارتهم.

✅تنشئة التلاميذ على القيم الأخلاقية الرفيعة كالأمانة والصدق والوفاء وحبُّ التعاون.
