In today’s article, we will show an example of applying the scamper strategy in science: We want to collect a set of information related to plants and ways to take care of them, so we ask several questions such as:
1- What would happen if we watered the plant as tea instead of water?
2- What would happen if we combined two types of soil?
3- What would happen if we added compost to the soil?
4- What would happen if we watered it three times?
5- What would happen if we eliminated sunlight?
6- Is there another use of plants other than a food source? By answering these questions, new ideas will be generated.
This strategy encourages learners to discover and innovate in a way they were not familiar with before.
The success of the scamper strategy depends on giving students enough opportunity to raise questions and the freedom to ask them
