Child’s Schoolwork

My child doesn’t like doing homework, nor she/he knows

 how to do homework!

Some teachers don’t like asking a child to do homework in order not to be anxious ,but other teachers  say that doing homework is very important to enhance the child’s feeling of responsibility ,independence and to evaluate her/his learning.

_ There are different views about doing homework ,but we can’t overlook doing it at all ,although some  mothers find a difficulty to persuade their children to do their homework well.

_How can we encourage children to do their homework?

🔸First, it’s very important to ensure that the child feels relaxed and isn’t worried , anxious and distracted  by any surrounding noise.

🔸Next, we should prepare the suitable learning environment and the suitable light.

🔸Then, we should give the child a healthy meal which enables her/ him to concentrate during doing her/his homework.

🔸After that, Designing suitable learning environment forms a good habit for the child.

🔸Then, we should  assign specific time for the child to do homework every day.

🔸Next, we should overlook the child’s mistakes during doing homework.

🔸Then, we should give the child a break when she/he finds difficulty in doing homework, even we can help her/him.

🔸After that, we should encourage the child to use technology in searching and finding information.

🔸Then, we should encourage the child to explain how she/he is thinking by which she/he feels controlled  in her/his tasks and the way of doing these task

🔸 Next, we should praise the child’s performances and reward her/him when she/he always does homework.

**So that ,we find that doing homework helps children to enhance their  school  information. train children to acquire studying habits, encourage them to do special effort and arrange their time and tasks, provided that homework should  be useful and suitable to the child’s age ,abilities and her/his learning level and  when assigning this homework  the teacher should take into account that the child should have leisure time to play, relax and communicate with other people.
