Course topics:
Listening Test:
You will be tested in understanding short texts in specific areas, and general and comprehensive texts in the English language in a variety of ways.
Academic reading text:
In which, you have to understand an article and prove that you understand the complicated information in that article.
Academic Writing Test or Writing Test:
It has two parts and you will be expected to use English for a variety of purposes, and to show that you can adapt your written English to a variety of topics. Your sentence construction, your use of words, grammar, and associations, will be evaluated.
Speaking test:
This test is the same for the examinees, whether for an academic purpose or for general training. It contains an interview, covering a wide range of topics. You will have to talk about personal issues, engage alone in a short discussion on a specific topic and also contribute to a one-on-one discussion on specific issues.
The listening and speaking parts of the IELTS test are the same as the two tests, but the reading and writing tests are designed to measure academic skills or general skills.
