Learning disabilities and their causes

Learning disabilities are a qualitative disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes of “attention, perception, speech, understanding, problem solving” which affects the use of the reading or writing skills.
This results in having poor ability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell or make simple sports processes provided that this disorder should not be referred to mentality or sensory disability. Even though, Children with learning disabilities have average or above average intelligence, but they have difficulty acquiring language skills and learning using usual teaching methods. In today’s article, we will talk about the factors that cause learning difficulties:
1- hereditary genetic factors:
It is a set of factors and preparations transmitted from parents to children, and the incidence of learning difficulties among children may increase in some families with a history of such disorders.
1-Organic and biological factors: The neural formations in the brain are among the most important factors governing the learning process, and the brain consists of several parts that work together and in an integrated system despite the different function or functions of each of them.

3- Acquired brain injury: either during or shortly before birth, as it occurs due to lack of oxygen, and through the use of medical tools. After birth, accidents cause concussion, encephalitis, measles and learning disabilities.
4- chemical factors: The human body contains specific proportions of chemical elements that preserve its vitality and activity, and an increase or decrease in these elements leads to simple dysfunction in the brain.
5- Environmental factors and malnutrition: Learning disabilities may appear as a result of a group of conditions such as lack of food, variety of diseases and accidents, lack of appropriate medical care and drug abuse.
6- Educational factors: represented in the school, weak curricula and lack of teachers’ skills.

In conclusion, it is necessary to emphasize the necessity of paying attention to students with learning disabilities, detecting them early, educating and rehabilitating them, and And open horizons of bright hope in front of them.
